The Creators

Cities Of Faith was conceived little more than three years ago by a small group of high school students. Years went by and the projects goals and settings changed rapidly. After three years the project was completed thanks to the inexhaustible effort of Thomas Van Durme and Jelle Van Gompel.

Thomas Van Durme

Thomas 'Peagles' Van Durme, a 22 year old student from Antwerp (Belgium), studies engineering and Artificial Intelligence at the department of computer sciences (KULeuven). Aged 17, he started working on the ideas that founded Cities Of Faith. Three years later, with the aid and enthusiasm of the entire team, Cities Of Faith finally became a reality. His other interests are tennis, playing the piano, youth camps, skiing and having the occasional drink with friends.

Jelle Van Gompel

Jelle 'Zephoyn' Van Gompel, aged 22 and living in Mol (Belgium), studies engineering and Distributed Systems at the department of computer sciences (KULeuven). After joining Cities Of Faith, things took a fast turn and in less than two years a new game was born. Old concepts were torn apart, new ideas introduced. The entire game was put in a new color. Beside his commitment to Cities Of Faith he loves watching movies, swimming and having a drink with friends.

Koen Van Riet

Special thanks to Koen 'Jaryd' Van Riet, aged 21 and living in Holsbeek (Belgium) who studies engineering and Distributed Systems at the department of computer sciences (KULeuven). By his efforts and realism fundamental COF game concepts were either reviewed, revised or changed for the better. The 'alive and kicking' market system relies fully on his successful implementation. Thanks!

Special thanks to Thomas Devriendt, a 22 year old student living in Antwerp (Belgium), studying industrial engineering, by whose effort Cities Of Faith managed to get through its early years. He was indispensable in creating a base of structure on which Cities Of Faith still relies on.
